I am very happy to be in a church system that is Reformed, but generally thoughtful and historically aware.
Peter Leithart points out the terrible results when a particular stream of Reformed theology claims it is the only one that is truly reformed.

Yeah, but the only reason we don't have such doctrinal scandals here is because nobody cares too much about doctrine - except perhaps the Moore College gents, whose contributions are great but their modernist (scientistic, gnostic) approach means they can't make sense of some really important bits of the Bible. Most of the real advances are being made in America. Which means there will be problems.
