i've done no reading and very little thinking. I had a mate when i was younger who was intersex, he had operations as a teenager, which really messed him up. I don't know that the 'recovering biblical manhood' movement would be very helpful to him. i'd love to hear your wifes thoughts seamus. We should catch up next time you're hanging around college
I got started on the subject after being surprised at statistics on the rate of intersex births. It seems a lot more common than people assume.
I'd be interested in discussing the topic with you too, as I do think that Christians should be thinking about this in order to provide godly care when it happens (and it has and will keep happening in our churches whether we know about it or not). I hope we do meet sometime. :)

Good question. My wife is wondering that too. She has done a lot of reading about intersex, medical practice, and identity.

Hello, I'm Seumas' wife. :)

Mike, I'm at college 5 days a week, down in the PG study room; I imagine you're on holidays post-mission, but would be good to meet and chat.
